A Patch History of Wagion
In 2001, Wagion Lodge 6 celebrated it's 80th anniversary of
cheerful service. Over those 80 years, there have been many patch issues,
this directory is growing. It is our hope that eventually it will serve
as an in depth reference into the history of Wagion from the perspective
of it's patch issues.

The Lodge Chenile
Many people don't know what a chenile is, so here's some for you to see.
It's basically a fuzzy patch. Wagion has restricted sale of these to Brotherhood and
Vigil members only since ~1992.

Historical Notes: There were exactly 1000 of these patches made.
There were also 200 hat pins with the same design made. This flap
was named the official lodge flap in April of 1995.
Wagion by-laws at the time specified that every new ordeal member was to
receive a new
lodge flap once they became a member at no charge. Because of the
high cost of production for this flap, and because Wagion still
had thousands of its old flap in stock, the title of the flap was
changed shortly thereafter from "Official Lodge Flap" to
"Official Anniversary Flap", so that the old flap could still be
distributed to new members.

75th Aniversary Participation Award (1996)

- Jacket (Back) Patch

Historical Notes:
This patch was released for Wagion's celebration of its 75th
anniversary. A number of people chose to have this placed on a solid
black ball jacket with the words "Wagion 6" embroidered above them
in an ice blue thread.
T-Shirts have also been made with the same design appearing
appearing as a heart print silk screened on them.

75th Anniversary Buckles
This is the design which appears on the 75th anniversary belt buckles.
To the best of our knowledge, there are about 20 of these done in brass, and
one special one done in 24ct gold floating around somwhere.
The black flap (6S12)
This flap was first released to delegates from our council going to the 1997 national jamboree. The flap reads "Wagion Lodge #6" "Second oldest lodge in the nation". After some discussion, it was decided that this flap would not be reprinted since there is debate on the legitimacy of that claim.
There are only 2,000 of these flaps in circulation.
