Design Comments:The thunderbird sits in front of a hemlock branch (hemlock being a traditional part of Wagion's pre-ordeal cemeremony.) There are fives acorns on the branch, one for each district in the council. Somewhere along the way, the council downsized to four districts. At that time, the scout executive decided that the fifth acorn should remain, symbolizing exploring which was just in its infancy at the time.
